PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE DUTIES

The Professional Development Committee provides leadership for educational program within the Hot Springs Board of REALTORSâ.

The Professional Development Committee shall provide Orientation meetings for new members covering ethics, Procedures, Equal Opportunity, etc.  Such Orientation meetings shall be held at least quarterly for new members and more often if needed.

The Professional Development Committee shall meet once every two months to plan the Orientation Program.

The Executive Officer will act as Secretary for the Committee. 

The Executive Officer shall keep and file copies of the minutes in a permanent file.·        

The Professional Development Committee shall use any REALTOR of their choosing to take part in the Orientation program.

The Professional Development Committee is to meet immediately after installation to plan the year’s activity in education.

The Committee reports to the Board of Directors in all matters concerning any educational program, including the preparation of schedules and dates, publicity, selection of instructors, subject matter, etc.

Orientation session dates and times are to be co-coordinated with the Executive Officer.

Committee will strive to keep informed of the latest publications from NAR & ARA and make recommendations to the Board.
